Python library for integrating the Alation API into agentic workflows
Provides modular components for LangChain and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, enabling AI agents to perform natural language queries against Alation's data catalog metadata. The SDK abstracts authentication and API interaction through a core foundation layer, with both STDIO and HTTP transport modes available for the MCP server to support different deployment scenarios. Includes a Catalog Context Search Agent that dynamically constructs API parameters and integrates with Alation Agent Studio for building custom reasoning agents.
