UIX provides a unified, extensible Intermediate Representation (IR) for AI outputs, decoupling chat UIs from diverse AI backend formats like Vercel AI SDK, AgentX, or A2UI. It leverages pure function adapters as an Anti-Corruption Layer to convert various upstream message and tool call formats into a standardized `LucidConversation` and `LucidBlock` structure, complete with JSON Schema and TypeScript types. This IR supports seven block types and a 9-state tool lifecycle, integrating with renderers like `assistant-ui` or its own lightweight components.
