Built with Next.js 15 and Zustand for state management, it leverages Supabase Realtime for instant message delivery, typing indicators, and presence awareness, while integrating OpenAI for semantic search via message embeddings and custom AI agents. The frontend uses Tailwind CSS v4.1 with OKLCH color space for accessible theming, Radix UI for headless components, and React Query for server state caching. It connects to AWS Lambda backends through API Gateway and supports rich text editing via Quill, file attachments with automatic preview generation, and built-in audio/video calling.
