AI-DLC 2026 Methodology - Iterative AI-driven development with hat-based workflows
Structures AI-driven development into four phases (Elaboration, Execution, Operation, Reflection) with persisted Intent/Unit metadata in `.ai-dlc/` directories and ephemeral state cleared between sessions. Implements role-based "hat" workflows (planner, builder, reviewer, etc.) with quality gates via automated tests, linting, and type checking as backpressure rather than checklists. Integrates as a Claude Code plugin with git worktrees, branch conventions, and dependency-ordered unit execution via DAG-based task sequencing.
