Uses a local SQLite Grand Comics Database for fast offline lookups paired with ComicVine's visual cover matching API for validation, with confidence scoring (high/medium/low) on each match. Built on OpenTUI for an interactive terminal interface, it supports both single-box and batch processing modes via TUI or headless CLI, with resume capability and multi-format image support (.jpg, .png, .webp, .tiff, .bmp). Requires an OpenAI-compatible vision-language model endpoint (vLLM, Ollama, etc.) to extract metadata directly from cover images in fresh passes without cached multi-modal context.
