Socratic is a framework for building reliable vertical AI agents by letting human experts teach agents interactively, turning tacit domain knowledge into a continuously improving knowledge base.
Combines interactive expert questioning, code-level document grounding, and LLM tool-calling (via OpenAI Codex or OpenAI-compatible APIs) to distill domain knowledge into auditable, plain-text knowledge units rather than opaque embeddings. Surfaces contradictions and edge cases through human-in-the-loop curation workflows accessible via CLI or web UI, with all processing and storage remaining local unless explicitly sending prompts to your configured LLM provider.
