Mega is an open-source implementation of Google Piper — a Git-compatible monorepo engine built for the AI Agent era.
Built entirely in Rust for petabyte-scale codebases, Mega pairs with Libra (a Git-compatible SQLite-backed client) to enable AI agents as first-class contributors with full intent tracking and code attribution. It enforces trunk-based development, integrates Buck2 for reproducible builds, and provides FUSE filesystem mounting (Scorpio) so agents and developers interact with monorepos as local directories while Mega handles scale transparently.
