A behavioral governance framework for GitHub Copilot agents — skills.md and instructions to make AI coding agents think like senior engineers.
This project helps software development teams ensure their AI coding agents, like GitHub Copilot, follow best practices and a consistent workflow. It provides a structured set of "skills" and a mandatory development pipeline (Brainstorm, Plan, TDD, Review, Finish) that AI agents can automatically discover and adhere to. Engineering managers, tech leads, or platform engineers can use this to standardize AI agent behavior and maintain code quality.
Use this if you want your AI coding agents to consistently produce high-quality code, follow established engineering workflows, and self-improve without constant human oversight.
Not ideal if your development team doesn't use AI coding agents or if your primary concern is an entirely different aspect of code quality, such as static analysis or dependency management.
