About mcp-sequentialthinking-tools

spences10/mcp-sequentialthinking-tools

🧠 An adaptation of the MCP Sequential Thinking Server to guide tool usage. This server provides recommendations for which MCP tools would be most effective at each stage.

Combines sequential problem decomposition with LLM-driven tool analysis to generate confidence-scored recommendations for which MCP tools to execute at each step, including priority ordering and alternative suggestions. Implements automatic memory management with configurable history limits to prevent unbounded growth during extended reasoning sessions. Integrates as an MCP server compatible with Cline, Claude Desktop, and WSL environments, accepting available tool descriptions and thought progression to coordinate multi-step tool orchestration.
