This model is very useful to detecting cars, buses, and trucks in a video.
Built on YOLOv8 for real-time vehicle detection, this project adds intelligent bridge load management by tracking individual vehicles across frames, estimating weight per class (car/bus/truck), and dynamically gating entry when cumulative load would exceed a configurable capacity limit. Entry and exit lines define bridge boundaries; the system blocks new vehicles visually when at capacity while allowing tracked vehicles already on-bridge to exit, automatically reopening access once sufficient weight clears.
