[CVPR 2022] Neural Global Shutter: Learn to Restore Video from a Rolling Shutter Camera with Global Reset Feature

13
/ 100
Experimental

This project helps video creators and engineers improve footage captured with rolling shutter cameras that have a global reset feature. It takes video exhibiting the wobbly, skewed distortions common with rolling shutter and outputs a corrected, clean video that looks like it was shot with a global shutter camera. Anyone working with video from drones, action cameras, or other devices prone to rolling shutter artifacts would find this useful.

No commits in the last 6 months.

Use this if your rolling shutter camera footage shows severe warping or jello effects, especially if your camera has a global reset capability.

Not ideal if your camera is a true global shutter camera, or if your rolling shutter camera lacks a global reset feature, as this method specifically leverages that technology.
