Built in Go with a modular service-oriented architecture, the backend integrates Ollama for local LLM inference and Stable Diffusion for image generation, enabling real-time grammar feedback and visual story illustration. An internal event bus orchestrates asynchronous workflows like comic PDF generation, while JWT-based authentication and repository pattern data access provide secure, scalable API endpoints for story creation, assessment management, and progress tracking.
