Built on Edge-Connect's adversarial edge-learning architecture, this tool provides an OpenCV-based GUI for interactive inpainting workflows with dual editing modes—standard and edge-guided—enabling fine-grained control over restoration. The backend uses PyTorch 1.0 with pre-trained weights optimized for anime face datasets, while the training pipeline adds automated checkpoint management and a combined two-phase optimization phase for faster convergence.
