Implements a protocol for agent-to-agent payment transactions using standardized message formats and cryptographic verification, enabling autonomous agents built with any framework (ADK, Gemini, or custom tools) to negotiate and execute purchases. The architecture uses Python and Android implementations with pluggable merchant/payment backends, authenticated via Google API Key or Vertex AI. Core protocol types are published as a reusable PyPI package to facilitate cross-platform agent interoperability in commerce workflows.
