Zulko/composer-timelines
A web app to explore the life, works and world of famous composers through the years
This web application helps classical music enthusiasts and students explore the lives, works, and historical contexts of famous composers side-by-side. You input a selection of composers, and it outputs interactive timelines showcasing their compositions, significant life events, and world happenings during their careers. Music historians, students, or anyone curious about classical music's timeline would find this useful.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you want to visually compare the concurrent events and works of multiple classical composers from the public domain.
Not ideal if you need a deep, analytical database for musicological research beyond historical timelines or want to include composers whose works are not yet in the public domain.
