Builds on the paper-qa framework with a modular retrieval-augmented generation pipeline: document fetching, ranking, and summarization stages feed into LangChain-powered QA chains that ground answers in recipe sources with citations. Supports customization of individual components (Fetcher, Ranker, Summarizer, LLM chain) via inheritance, enabling domain-specific prompt engineering and alternative language models beyond OpenAI's API.
