**This project is deprecated.** It provided Go bindings for the Gemini API with support for text generation, streaming responses, and multi-modal inputs, but has been superseded by the unified [Google Gen AI SDK](https://github.com/googleapis/go-genai) which consolidates support for Gemini, Veo, Imagen, and other Google GenAI models. All support ends November 30, 2025—new projects should use the official SDK instead.
