Python Streamlit web app utilizing OpenAI (GPT4) and LangChain LLM tools with access to Wikipedia, DuckDuckgo Search, and a ChromaDB with previous research embeddings. Ultimately delivering a research report for a user-specified input, including an introduction, quantitative facts, as well as relevant publications, books, and youtube links.
Implements a dual-storage architecture combining SQLite for relational data with ChromaDB vector embeddings, enabling LangChain agents to perform semantic retrieval across previous research. Extends beyond web search by integrating PubMed for academic literature access alongside Wikipedia and DuckDuckGo. Includes a conversational interface allowing follow-up queries about generated or historical research through a GPT-4 powered chatbot.
