A Chrome Extension that promotes politically diverse news reading with Artificial Intelligence!
Uses NLP and RoBERTa transformer models trained on ~111k labeled articles to assign political bias scores (-42 to +42 left-to-right), with an API backend achieving 6.04 MAE. Tracks user reading habits to identify their own political lean and recommends opposing viewpoints. Integrates with Chrome's manifest v3 extension framework and calls a remote bias-detection API via configurable endpoints.
