The project developed using TensorFlow to recognize the License Plate from a car and to detect the charcters from it.
Combines TensorFlow's SSD-MobileNet CNN for plate localization with Tesseract OCR for character recognition, processing annotated training data through TensorFlow record format for GPU-accelerated training. Integrates OpenCV for preprocessing and motion detection to automatically capture vehicles crossing defined frame boundaries. The pipeline handles the full ALPR workflow: plate detection, cropping, image conversion, and character extraction from real-world car images.
