Open-Waifu open-sourced finetunable customizable simpable AI waifu inspired by neuro-sama
Combines a Pygmalion 1.3B language model with VITS text-to-speech (translated to Japanese via NLLB-600M) and integrates with VTube Studio for avatar animation. Runs as a split client-server architecture with model inference on a separate backend (minimum 12GB RAM), supporting both CPU and GPU inference (8GB+ VRAM for NVIDIA). Built in Python with Poetry dependency management and includes voice conversion capabilities through SoVITS components.
