This project helps radiologists and medical researchers quickly identify and localize 14 common thoracic diseases from chest X-ray images. You input a frontal-view chest X-ray, and it outputs the probability of each disease being present, along with a visual 'heatmap' showing where the pathology is likely located on the image. This tool is designed for medical professionals or researchers working with large volumes of chest X-rays.

Use this if you need an automated, explainable system to screen chest X-rays for thoracic abnormalities or to assist in diagnosis.

Not ideal if you need a system trained on a different type of medical image, such as CT scans, or if you require an official medical device certification.
