Uses Kafka as a distributed message broker to stream video frames from edge devices to cloud analysis pipelines, with containerized producer/consumer services running on Raspberry Pi and cloud infrastructure. Supports both AWS-managed and self-hosted (Swarm/Kubernetes) deployments, integrating AWS Rekognition for object detection and Lambda for triggered alerting workflows. Includes a web dashboard for low-latency frame monitoring and SMS notifications when specified objects are detected.
