UFPR-ADMR-v2: a dataset for image-based automatic meter reading containing 5,000 dial meter images obtained on-site by employees of the Energy Company of ParanĂ¡ (Copel), which serves more than 4 million consuming units in the Brazilian state of ParanĂ¡.
This dataset provides 5,000 real-world images of utility dial meters, captured by field employees, to help automate the process of reading them. It includes both the meter images and detailed annotations for each dial's position and the corresponding reading. Energy companies or researchers in computer vision aiming to develop or improve automated meter reading systems would use this.

Use this if you are an academic researcher developing or evaluating machine learning models for automatic dial meter reading.
Not ideal if you are a commercial entity or not affiliated with an educational or research institute, as the dataset is restricted to non-commercial academic use.
