The project focuses on Tracking missing people. We are using Image processing and Machine learning along with Postgres Database.
Extracts facial landmarks (468-point mesh) via MediaPipe to automatically detect and match faces without manual tagging, then uses KNN classification on 1,404-dimensional vectors to compare sightings against missing person cases. The Streamlit frontend provides separate officer and public portals with role-based access, live India map visualization, and optional SMTP email alerts on match confirmation, while SQLite persists case data locally.
