Machine learning pipeline to predict relevant categories based on a product name and product description, using NLP and Deep learning concepts.
Implements multi-label classification on product metadata from Best Buy's open dataset, addressing the challenge that products belong to multiple categories simultaneously rather than single mutually-exclusive classes. The pipeline applies NLP preprocessing and deep learning models to extract semantic meaning from product names and descriptions, exposing predictions through a REST API for real-time category tagging. Development follows the CRISP-DM methodology to ensure systematic feature engineering, model validation, and deployment workflows.
