New Polars implementation of the classic featurewiz MRMR algorithm. Created by Ram Seshadri. Collaborators welcome.
Implements the SULOV (Searching for Uncorrelated List of Variables) algorithm alongside automated feature engineering for rapid feature discovery and selection on large datasets. Built on Polars' Rust-backed engine, it delivers significant speed and memory advantages over pandas-based alternatives while integrating seamlessly with scikit-learn pipelines through custom transformers and encoders for categorical variables.
