Prototype RAG system for querying Swiss Federal Archives RDF knowledge graphs through natural language. Built by FHGR in the context of the SIARD-LD project.
This project helps archive researchers and historians quickly explore and retrieve information from complex archival knowledge graphs, specifically those built on RDF. You input natural language questions about the archive's contents. The system then translates your question into a technical query and returns relevant archival data, often visualized as an interactive graph, allowing you to easily understand connections and details within the historical records.
Use this if you are an archivist, historian, or researcher needing to ask natural language questions about vast, structured historical archives represented as RDF knowledge graphs and want to visualize the relationships in the answers.
Not ideal if your archive is not structured as an RDF knowledge graph, or if you primarily need to perform simple keyword searches rather than complex, relationship-based queries.
