MCP server that enables your agents to use coding rules from any or your GitHub repository. Instead of workspace rules files, you can now prompt agents to access the your coding rules from any repository.
Implements an MCP server that exposes two tools—`list_rules` and `get_rules`—allowing AI agents to dynamically fetch coding standards from GitHub repositories without local workspace files. Supports multiple file formats (.md, .mdc, .chatmode.md, .instructions.md) with automatic metadata extraction from frontmatter or content structure. Integrates with MCP-compatible clients (VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf) via environment variable configuration and works with community rule collections like awesome-cursorrules and awesome-copilot out of the box.
