APISIX Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is used to bridge large language models (LLMs) with the APISIX Admin API.
Implements comprehensive CRUD operations across APISIX resources (routes, services, upstreams, SSL certs) and plugin management via MCP tool definitions, enabling AI clients to programmatically inspect and modify gateway configurations. Runs as a Node.js process communicating with APISIX Admin API over HTTP, configured through environment variables and installed via npm or Smithery for seamless integration with Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible AI platforms.
