MCP Documentation Server Using the Official FedRAMP/docs Repo
Implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that parses 12 FRMR JSON document types and 62+ markdown files, exposing 21 structured tools for querying FedRAMP compliance data including KSI indicators, control mappings, and version diffs. Uses Lunr-backed inverted indexing for markdown search with snippet extraction, auto-clones the upstream repository with configurable update intervals, and supports MCP clients like Claude Desktop via stdio transport. Includes Docker packaging, security hardening configurations, and optional persistence of indexed data to disk for faster cold starts.
