MCP Server for the SWAPI Star Wars API. The main goal of the project is to show how an MCP server can be used to interact with APIs.
Exposes 12 MCP tools wrapping SWAPI endpoints with built-in pagination, search filtering, and response caching to optimize repeated queries. Installable via NPM or Docker in VS Code/Claude, the server handles multi-page result sets automatically and includes cache management utilities for performance monitoring. Node.js 20+ runtime with stdio transport integration for seamless MCP host communication.
