Mantora operates as an MCP proxy that intercepts agent-database interactions, applying configurable safety policies (blocking destructive SQL patterns by default) before relaying results back to the agent. It generates structured session logs capturing SQL queries and tool calls, then exports them as Markdown reports or JSON traces for audit and reproduction. Supports DuckDB and Postgres with hot-swappable target configuration via a web dashboard, enabling agents to switch databases at runtime without restart.
