A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides tools for querying SPARQL endpoints, with specialized support for NSF-funded Proto-OKN (Prototype Open Knowledge Network) knowledge graphs hosted on the FRINK platform.
Implements ontology-driven query expansion to automatically broaden searches across knowledge graph hierarchies, and supports federated querying across multiple SPARQL endpoints simultaneously. The server integrates with MCP-compatible AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, VS Code Copilot) via stdio transport, automatically discovering and documenting FRINK-hosted knowledge graphs while allowing custom endpoint configuration.
