Implements keyword-based ranking via [Tantivy](https://github.com/quickwit-oss/tantivy) BM25 index with millisecond query latency and 2k-12k files/sec indexing speed, trading semantic similarity for exact term matching that research shows covers 70-85% of developer search needs. Exposes 14 MCP tools (search_code, find_references, read_file, etc.) as a stdio transport for AI coding agents, complementing structural AST tools for polyglot repositories and boolean multi-term queries without GPU or cloud dependencies.
