Image search application built with the vector capabilities of OceanBase
Supports three search modes—vector similarity, full-text caption search, and hybrid retrieval with result fusion (RRF)—using DashScope embeddings and OpenAI-compatible VLMs for image captioning. Built on Streamlit frontend with OceanBase/seekdb backend, maintaining both HNSW vector indexes and full-text indexes for efficient multi-modal retrieval. Handles batch dataset ingestion from image archives and performs dynamic table creation with automatic index setup during first use.
