About 3D Printed robot arm powered by ROS 2 and Arduino and controlled via MoveIt! 2 and Amazon Alexa. It is developed and programmed in the online course named "Robotics and ROS 2 - Learn by Doing! Manipulators"
The project implements inverse kinematics and motion planning through Gazebo simulation and ros2_control, enabling trajectory execution on both simulated and physical hardware via Arduino firmware. Code is provided in dual Python and C++ implementations to support different developer preferences. Integration with Alexa voice control is achieved through a REST API endpoint, allowing natural language commands to coordinate arm movements with MoveIt! 2's planning algorithms.
