boudhayan-dev/Blind-Reader-project
A low cost reading device for blind people.
Uses Google Cloud Vision API for OCR and Text-to-Speech API for audio output, running on a Raspberry Pi with GPIO-controlled camera capture and play/pause buttons. The system automatically organizes scanned images into book folders for digital archival while supporting both speaker and headphone audio output. Built in Python with hardware integration via RPi.GPIO and Pygame for audio playback management.
