Real-time translation of Pakistan sign language into text and speech using OpenPose and Machine Learning
Extracts skeletal keypoints via OpenPose v1.5.0 to train ML classifiers for recognizing 37 Urdu alphabets and 12 Urdu words from sign gestures. The system provides three components: real-time detection with text/speech output, automated dataset capture for expanding the custom PSL corpus, and an interactive learning module. Built with Python 3.7 and publicly paired with a Kaggle dataset for reproducibility.
